Delete your account and personal data from Bitflinger — instantly in the app, or by request.

In accordance with GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations, Bitflinger provides you with the right to delete your personal data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have control over your information.

Delete Your Account in the App (Fastest)

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself, at any time, directly in Bitflinger TV:

1. Open Bitflinger TV and go to Settings.
2. Under Account, select Delete Account.
3. Confirm when prompted. Your account and all of your data — including your media lists, filters, and settings — are deleted immediately and permanently.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play; manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data by email instead:

1. Send an email to delete-my-data@bitflinger.net.
2. You MUST send the email from the email address associated with your Bitflinger account so we can verify your identity.
3. The subject line should be: "Data Deletion Request".

What Happens Next?

Once we receive your request:

• We will verify your request and may ask for additional confirmation if necessary.
• We will process your request within 30 days, in compliance with GDPR requirements.
• All your personal data, including account information, preferences, and watchlists, will be permanently removed from our active databases.
• Please note that some information may be retained for a limited period in our backups or as required by law for legitimate business or legal purposes (e.g., financial records, tax compliance).
