Instructions for requesting the deletion of your personal data from Bitflinger.

In accordance with GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations, Bitflinger provides you with the right to request the deletion of your personal data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have control over your information.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email to delete-my-data@bitflinger.net.
2. You MUST send the email from the email address associated with your Bitflinger account so we can verify your identity.
3. The subject line should be: "Data Deletion Request".

What Happens Next?

Once we receive your request:

• We will verify your request and may ask for additional confirmation if necessary.
• We will process your request within 30 days, in compliance with GDPR requirements.
• All your personal data, including account information, preferences, and watchlists, will be permanently removed from our active databases.
• Please note that some information may be retained for a limited period in our backups or as required by law for legitimate business or legal purposes (e.g., financial records, tax compliance).
